I found this brief quote in the Winter, 99 issue of "Spirituality & Health". I enjoyed it and wanted to
share it with all of you. The Dalai Lama was talking
with a close friend who had spent a total of 18 years in Chinese prison and labor camps.... "And he told me (the Dalai Lama) that during those periods, on a few occasions he really faced some danger. I (Dalai Lama) asked what kind of danger, and his response was, 'Oh, danger of losing compassion for the Chinese."
I loved it! Since compassion is a universal thread
in Christianity, too, I thought this quote might fit
in on this board.
BTW, do you there is also a forgiveness institute to be
found online at www.forgiveness-institute.org? This
institute was also mentioned in the same magazine.
Hope this is helpful to someone.
