In addition to what Phil has recommended, I heartily recommend the Jesus Prayer, which is "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner". There are variations of that but that is it basically. The best description of it and its use is found in a wonderful book called, THE WAY OF THE PILGRIM. It is one means by which we can follow Paul's admonition to pray without ceasing. I found it to be deeply enriching. Don't have time to go into detail but it was a means by which the Lord used to help me overcome some things. Yet it isn't a prayer one says and that's it...it becomes a part of your daily life. It is worth looking into, Kendall.
Your desire for more is understandable. But, go carefully into the various 'other' religions. One can sometimes get easily drawn into them and they become paramount. But, Let Jesus Be THE Focus..and as Phil says: use the others ONLY to help deepen your Christian experience.
Again, I recommend the reading of the book I mentioned above and learn to pray without ceasing!
Also, for me, Kendall, truth is found in Jesus Christ and His Church, The Catholic Church. For it is there that it is made known to us.
Welcome, Kendall.....in my opinion, our search does not truly end here on earth...but it will on the other side of the veil. In between, we search and the search itself is rich and can lift us up.
