Welcome! Just like to recommend several people and books to you. Books by Fr. Bede
Griffiths do a great job with the relationship between Hinduism and Christianity. A very brief
book entitled " Bede Griffiths" might be a good start. It's part of the modern spirituality series by Templegate Publishers and edited by Peter Spink.
As for energy fields, why not read some Edgar Cayce? I've read that Cayce was quite a devout Christian, in addition to his other talents.
Also, "The Cosmic Christ" by Matt Fox might interest you.
Remember to focus on the overwhelming Love of God! Don't be afraid!
