: Is it really possible for people to be so committed to morality and love and have no inclinations toward explicit faith, or to reject the transcendental implications of their own spirituality?
i think it would be the rule and not the exception that such people would be drawn toward an explicit expression of their inner orientations
those who have rejected explicit faith forms, i think, typically have *disinclinations* toward same likely because of church scandal, poor formation, etc
then you have the Bertrand Russells and pre-conversion CS Lewises, etc
and finally, the *temporary* dark night-trippers
i agree with your response completely
