I don't have a special place for prayer, but in various spots throughout my house I have what I call "God corners." These are little things that remind me of God's presence in various ways.
For example, a collection of smooth stones on the window ledge over my kitchen sink reminds me that God's care extends to even the smallest things in His creation--and the rough times in my life have "polished" my inner being just as these rocks were polished by being buffeted about in the water.
Another God corner holds a piece of artwork done by my son at age 6, which reminds me of Jesus' words that we "become as children."
