Felipe: I can understand how you are feeling and would suggest begin with the Gospel of John and read a chapter....look for that which speaks to you and think on it....how it could apply to life that day.
Phil has also given some great suggestions...there is a bible study on the Gospel of John...if you would like, I will forward that URL to you.
Well, why wait: here it is...
http://www.catholic-convert.com
After it downloads click on "Bible Studies" and in there you will find the Gospel of John. I have just started it and it is great@!
Also check on the Internet Programs that Phil offers on this site..enroll in one if you can. They are great and will help develop one's spirituality.
Hope I have been some help.
blessings, and grace,
anne
: A few times a week I realize I want to be a faithful and obedient child of God, but most of the time this is not on my mind at all. I go to church locally but don't feel like I'm connecting with anyone there. I feel like I need someone to check up on me and see if I am reading my Bible and praying regularly. (I am not, not at all) I believe in God when I think about it, but I really believe in the world all the time. Either I go to my job, or do errands, or play golf or watch tv. I read email regularly, much more so than my Bible. Is there a bible study listserv? A thirty minute a day bible study online? Or what???
