As so often happens with me, I came across
an answer to my own question. Just thought
I'd post it in case anyone is interested.
In the book, "The New Creation in Christ", Bede
Griffiths says, "I think it is important to see
that behind all the diversities of human nature there
is a common ground and in that common ground
every human being is in search of God,
of ultimate meaning and ultimate truth." (p. 15)
So, according to this,
the common ground already exists. Therein lies
the hope for dialogue.
Thanks to the book angels who lead me to this. :)
