No, April. I'm afraid there is no official position on Hindu avatars.
The Church would, of course, deny that anyone but Jesus of Nazareth was the Incarnation of God the Second Person of the Trinity. Avatars would probably be viewed as mystics with extraordinary psychic gifts, and it is recognized that such are
to be found among the religions of the world. Christianity itself is rife with mystics who demonstrated miraculous powers, but who did not claim to be an incarnation of God.
