However I also agree with what Phil has said - one does get the impression, after reading a lot of de Mello, that there is somehow a void where we should be a positive statement of the truth in Christ. He seems to me to be so anxious to debunk our wrong views and attitudes towards God that he fails to assert the positive message of Christianity of salvation through Christ. But maybe I have not read him deeply enough.
I shall always be in his debt and I shall go on readfing him - along with my New Testament !!!
