Notice that I had said when the priest is performing a sacramental role (saying Mass, hearing confessions, etc.), it is then that he stands "in persona Christi." Otherwise, yes, he is surely a member of the Body of Christ as we all are, and in a feminine stance before God, to use your analogy.
