Naw, no offense taken! Just take a look at your line of questioning, however, and the feedback you got about it. There's an anti-Catholic slant, in my view. Statements like the one below from you are a clear tip-off.

But in light of his transgressions against the Lord (Jesus even called him Satan at one point) and his denial of the Lord at a most crucial time, would the establishment of a religious organization by Peter have been of divine ordination as the Catholic church claims?

This is anti-Catholicism hiding in the cloak of "dialogue," friend. What else shall we call it? Why ignore the reconciliation between Jesus and Peter at the end of John's Gospel and Jesus' words for Peter to feed His lambs? Why ignore early Christian history, in which the Bishop of Rome was considered the one to go to to help resolve conflicts? Etc.

But no personal offense taken, Acacia. I'd just prefer respectful rational discourse to having to respond to these kinds of broadsides.
