: if in the begining, god created adam & eve in the image of man, then why does the theory of evolution quote that man descended from ape-like creatures. scientists have came the the conclusion that dinosaurs had been wiped out by a meteorite, if aDAM & Eve were the first Persons on earth, surely they would have been wiped out along with the dinosaurs.
: Which story is true?

There's so much to say in response to this, none the least of which is. . .
1. God did not create Adam and Eve in the image of man, but in the image of God.
2. No evolutionist would maintain that humans and dinosaurs were around at the same time.
3. There's no reason to believe that the Genesis account of creation conflicts with evolution, unless you take such account literally, which would be a mis-reading of it. It's a myth, or story, which expresses truth, but not scientifically so.

Peace,

Phil
