Ivan, when it comes to modern physics and phenomena like nonlocality, psychology and phenomena like synchronicity, biology and morphic resonance, mystical experience and conjunctive awareness --- a paradigm open to the use of formal and logical causes just may indeed provide the next breakthroughs where these sciences are otherwise stuck at an epistemological impasse.
