I tried to send a posting regarding the table, specifically mentioning Windows 3.1 and how the start-up sequence changes and the change from 16 to 32 bit environment may have introduced the discontinuity. At start-up, the older Windows, if my recollection is correct, still used autoexec.bat and config.sys files rather than the registry (user.dat and system.dat) to boot. I won't elaborate further but will see what happened to my post. Is this the cyberequivalent of unanswered prayer?
