Hi! Welcome! I think jboy did a great job of
responding to your post. I just wanted to add my
two cents.
For me, my periods of silent meditation are
of the utmost importance. I do 2 twenty minute
periods daily. Those periods enable me to
sleep less, have more energy, and become aware
of God in other "ordinary" periods outside of
formal meditation. So much can be transmitted in
these periods of silence!
So, develop a prayer life and stick
with it in the best way you can!
God will do the rest.
