Thanks for the info jb.

Asceticism? For me? Gee, Thanks. :)

Before I get into any other conversation with you, I need to tie up a few loose ends from several
past posts. Just minor details, mind you, but I have been thinking about them.

Freud's daughter was named Anna, not Emma, right?

Also, if you spell something incorrectly, that is okay with me. This sort of communication is a sort of hybrid between verbal dialogue and written dialogue. I make spelling errors too, sometimes consciously. I don't care much because I don't want to take the time to edit myself or the things that are flowing forth from me. My writing teacher says it's important to get it all down on paper. The editing can come later. Since this is relatively informal, I don't think strict editing is necessary. I already know you're a pretty smart cookie.

However, if you remember, could you keep the paragraphs relatively short? It helps to make reading it so much easier for me.

So much for format.....

Now.... when I tell you something, I am pretty much thinking aloud. I am not highly invested in arguing most positions, including my own, as the only right one. In fact, I think you and I could
see things in totally different perspectives and both be right. So, you don't have to worry much about impasses with me. I just like to hear what you think.

Also, we are coming from very different fields.
You are in the field of business. I was in the field of education. My focus was to stress the postive aspects of people-sort of like Mary Poppins. I know many business people and most of the ones I know operate from very active first and second chakras. So, we are coming to this dialogue from very different places. That affects our perspectives. Keep that in mind. The people we hang out with affect the way we see the world.

Finally, the topic of thoughts. I have found
thoughts very important in the spiritual life.
I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the subject of thoughts and how they affect our lives.

Have a good merger. Be careful of those first and second chakra people!

lol
