Phil, you are reading a great deal into what I put up there. I don't view the ego as a false self. I view the ego as the vehicle for the transformation to the Christ self. I'm also not saying that the only subjective reality is God and everything else is false. I'm also not a Hindu. I'm a Catholic, like you!
I guess I am tired of the constant categorizing by
so many people today. As if only Catholics say this or only Protestants say that or only Hindus say another thing. I think, in reality, the interpretations of religions are as individual as the people that make them up. Raimundo Pannnikar is a Hindu and a Catholic. I also know of others who are more than one religion. Do you think God asks you such things before you can be admitted to heaven? What is the point, other than dividing people, instead of focusing on our common unity as human beings?
Anyway, I can see we're not getting too far with
this thread anymore. Thank you for your help and your explanations. I will read them over several times and try to digest them more fully. If I come up with further questions, I'll ask them later, if it's okay with you. I need a break.
You know so much that you tend to read more into my posts than I mean to be there. You can't help it! I understand.
Thanks for trying to dialogue with me Phil.
I appreciate it.
Love you much,
Diana
I read something about St. Theresa of Avila that suggested that she, too, learned best from the "inside." I can identify with that. Because you are also an intuitive, I think you will understand, too.
Thank you!
