I am in much general agreement with the points you made. There is very little danger of going far afield if one is aware of the nuances you have set forth. Seeking the Kingdom of God and defining the Peace that surpasses understanding in physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and soulful terms is great goal orientation. On the other hand, defining which "level" of teresian mystical prayer is our *goal* seems a tad more problematic, just for instance. I'm certain we're on the same page here.
