Your Christ OS introduces a "super"natural dimension which is simply not needed in advancing our understanding of products which are explainable vis a vis natural processes in a material (not spiritual) universe.

Hi Ivan,

I'm not so sure I can explain with philosophy or absolute proofs the answer to your questions. I did take a philosophy class one time in high school and we were taught about Occam's Razor as part of logic.

When I think about the Church, why it exists, and what it says about itself, doesn't it seem like the Occam's Razor explanation ought to be the resurrection of Jesus? What other natural explanation could explain it? Why else would the apostles have gone out proclaiming the resurrection when it cost most of them their lives, and when to be a Christian meant that you were considered an enemy of the state?

If you don't accept the resurrection of Jesus as the most "logical" explanation for the phenomenon we call Christianity, then what would your explanation be? And if the resurrection isn't a supernatural event, then what is?

There, now, I've used up all my logical powers and debate team skills for the day.

I'm enjoying this thread, Philoman

Jenn
