: Mac OS X is built around the Unix OS, which is about as robust and versatile as they get. Only one problem: it's very user-unfriendly. The Mac OS - Unix hybrid that OS X is brings the strengths of both operating systems together. So, OS X would be a more apt analogy for the Incarnation, with OS 9.1 representing the human and Unix the divine.
Fe, Philo - so all we're talking about is some powerful command line editing/executing program is being changed into a graphical user interface? That doesn't sound like "radical discontinuity" to me but more like Jungian individuation, becoming whole-brained, quite a *natural process*.
I still think that what most of the world's time-honored great traditions provide are anti-viral programs: the attainment of oneness, the cessation of desires, nirvana, satori, sainthood, all accomplished by deleting bad code and letting the original program run without interference.
Is that what you mean by the fall? A virus was introduced? And death is not a "problem" to be solved when we know through enlightenment that we are one with pure consciousness! And sin does not really exist, just improper judgements which require deletion!
This is so confusing. Thanks for bearing with me.
