I can't for the life of me remember the book's name... I'll see if I can find out. We are talking the middle ages here... probably inspired by that oh-so-prudish St Augustine.

A programme the other night presented by Emma Freud... and I'm afraid you're wrong... at some time in the past the Catholic Church made a list of ALL sins and placed them in order of gravity...

Past or present? Past was C of E... chapel every day, RE studies... present is my own business, but far removed from Christianity... a faith that I find most distasteful... particularly the views on 'conversion'. It's vanity and arrogance to force your faith onto others.
