Oh, this line of thinking just won't work, for it assumes that what the Lord came to establish existed only in the early Church, and even that doesn't say much, for there were many kinds of communities even then. Where is the evidence for your point?

Who says Jesus didn't come to found an orgainized religion? On what basis is this point made? You can't find one single Scripture to substantiate this point.

Christianity was already an organized religion by the time the Bible was written. It could not be more institutionalized because it was under persecution.

This notion that we've had it all wrong for 1700 years but that there's a group who will finally do the Lord's work in the way he intended seems pretty arrogant to me.
