>: Hi Ce Ce,
: Yes indeed! All sin ultimately hurts oneself just as surely as it does the other. And when Self is realized, it seems foolish to do something which will hurt oneself.<

"Other?"
What "other" is there when functioning from Self's perspective?

>: Nevertheless, it seems that realization of Self is an ongoing, deepening process, and mistakes can be made along the way. That certainly is my experience. These "mistakes" aren't necessarily sins in that they are willful violations of moral laws, but errors in judgment about eating, exercise, drink, mental exertion, etc. The clarity of Self is lost when such mistakes are made, resulting in a more clouded and fragmented consciousness. I can and do hurt others during such times, and so must take responsibility for my actions.<

I am not sure that "errors in jugdement" which concerns "eating, exercise, drink, mental exertion, etc." constitute "mistakes" at all, of course through self observation...nor can I say that "Clarity of Self" is either diminished or lost resulting in a "clouded and/or fragmented consciousness" through the lack thereof in such things.
Once Self is realized, it's just realized, period. The awareness is never lost through such tivialities.
On "hurting others" as a result of "clouded and/or fragmented consciousness" resulting from "mistakes" made through such context of "eating, exercise, drink, mental exertion, etc" (or the lack thereof..) - I would say, of course through my awareness - "Poor Excuse!"
Sorry Phil - I ain't buyin' it!
If you want to talk honest, I'll stay and converse here, but if you care more to pawn off ego indulgence to such trivialty instead of calling a spade a spade, I'm a gone-er - but love you just the same! lol!
Really now, you must admit such attitude would contribute to lack in resonsibilty taken for the pure pleasure of ego indulgence? This concerns "Choices" we make every second which becomes reflected through those (supposed/seeming) "Others" that you spoke of earlier - or more simply understood through familiar terms - "what goes round, comes round" in the great circle of life as a Self.
The truth is this...
"In a thing called (Reality)...There really is no One here but you!"
...and this reality applies to whoever that quote of mine is being addressed to, whether we call them "others" or otherwise. In there shall you find the Great Perfection of this God element,
(for lack of a better term...)For in there shall you find the many equalling that One.

>: At any rate, it seems to me that a perfect, continuous realization of Self is a pretty rare phenomenon, which is why I responded that the possibility of sin/harmful acts exists even for people who have come to this awareness.<

In my opinion, again, through my awareness of now, all I can say to this is that these supposed "sins" at the stage of Realization is just as possible as it was beforehand, the only difference being "it" becomes manifested through "conscious choice" (while awake) rather than "unconscious choice" (while asleep.)
But "sin" nonetheless always exists as much an "option" as does choosing otherwise while in either state of consciousness, be it realization or otherwise, as there is just no "victimhood" at that stage anymore - becoming more a matter of ultimate responsibility through conscious knowing-ness and a tremendous obligation to the Divine to serve. A true "calling" in my opinion - or what Christianity covers under the sacrament of "Holy Orders..."
Yes "sin" is possible, as all things are - but as to "it" being likely to occur inside the "Realization," (the state of knowing in consciousness?)
-- again... in more familiar terms of --
"what goes 'round - comes 'round?" -
--unless one is truly masochistic? (dot dot dot)

And thanks for your reply. Looking forward to participating in your "Kundalini Section" as nothing seems of more importance these days with so many souls making efforts to activate something already activated - that is, if I am still invited after this post! lol!
